After a hearty breakfast of hash browns, sausage, eggs , bagels, fruit and coffee - we were ready for a days fishing.

While Mike plays his big King, Albert stands by to help him land it.

Albert Hunter is a native Yup'ik (pronounced " you pick") Eskimo from Quinhagak. Albert has been a good friend of the Duncans for many years and has guided with them for the last several. During the winter, he works for the school district. Albert is quick to share his unique knowledge of the fishing on the Kanektok as well as the local culture. We asked Albert if he would give us a tour of the town, so he landed the boat and found the Duncan's pickup and drove us around Quinhagak.
